Tying Chenille
Has anyone made the hand tied blanket with individual squares? It is similar to the fleece blankets.?
This blanket is a series of 12″x12″ squares that are cut in strips all the way around and then tied to the next square. It is the same idea as the hand tied blanket. I saw an ad for a kit in a craft magazine. That one was made with felt. I want to make one with chenille, but I am not sure how to do it. Has anyone had experience with this project? Again, it is not the fleece blanket project. I have searched online but the fleece project keeps showing up on my searched.
Won’t your chenille ravel? I have seen it done with fleece. I would think that you would have to stitch around all of your cuts using chenille so you don’t have fraying/raveling. Fleece won’t do that.
